Well, I can’t imagine there’s been another day so far quite as exciting as this one…you’re in the minibus with your Mum & Dad & your friends driving to Disney World!!! I know Mum said you were getting up super early to make the most of the day & I’m imagining all your faces beaming with happiness 🙂 I love how you all love Disney so much & how much joy it brings you. What a fabulous way to escape into a fantasy world 🙂 I can’t wait to hear all about your adventures in the sunshine.
I’ve just been to the post office to post a parcel for Sophie’s birthday & in the queue I spotted a magazine I sometimes buy called ‘Breathe’. It’s the kind of magazine I love but don’t buy every issue because it’s not fashion (my absolute favourite) but every now & again I treat myself to it & enjoy all the lovely reading. It’s a lovely peaceful, calming read full of beautiful ways to make life just a little nicer. They say…”Breathe is committed to exploring innovative & creative ways for everyone to lead & share fulfilling, joyful & thoughtful lives.” What could be nicer to read about?
So now I’m back from my holiday I’m planning on setting aside (hopefully) an hour at sometime each day for reading. I have a few new books to read…Sensation by Isabel Losada (I’ve started this one & already & loving it…bit grown up for you yet….), Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie (I’ve seen the movie about a thousand times but I need to read the book) & The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho plus my Breathe magazine. There’s something lovely about escaping to different worlds in a great fiction or learning about someone’s life &/or experiences in a great autobiography or learning a new skill in a fabulous sewing book.
I know how much you love to read. I remember sitting with you while you read Matilda to me at only 5 years old. You’ve always been a great reader & I would encourage you to carry on even when you get older & your life gets busier. Reading will always give your body a lovely rest (as long as your eyes are happy…remember to get your eyes tested regularly) & it’ll take you off into your imagination…what could be a better treat for yourself?
I hope you all have a fabulous, magical time in Disney World…see you soon
Oh & Happy Happy Birthday to Steph Norman my very fabulous friend 🙂 (& Picasso)
Love you, Teeto xxx
